Training & Compliance:

• Provide new hire safety training and ongoing safety training for all Icon personnel.
• Conduct jobsite safety audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate training records, incident records, and OSHA reports.
• Conduct safety and environmental training, including OSHA 10, OSHA 30, equipment safety, and subcontractor-specific training.

Site Inspections & Risk Assessment:

• Perform routine construction site inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
• Review incident data and metrics to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide risk assessments for construction and shop locations, offering remediation recommendations.
• Assist project teams in developing site-specific Safety Plans, Emergency Action Plans, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs).

Incident Investigation & Reporting:

• Conduct thorough safety and environmental incident investigations and complete related reports.
• Prepare and submit safety performance reports, tracking the effectiveness of safety programs.
• Assist with OSHA inspections and compliance requirements.

Subcontractor & Project Support:

• Participate in preconstruction meetings with higher-risk subcontractors to ensure safety expectations are clearly communicated.
• Review subcontractor safety plans, JHAs, crane pick plans, and other safety documentation.
• Recommend safe equipment operating techniques and evaluate the need for updated safety equipment.

• Thoroughly understand OSHA compliance requirements
• Nurture the development of a companywide safety culture
• Effective oral and written communication with project team (internal and external)

• Expertise in OSHA compliance and a strong understanding of workplace safety regulations.
• Ability to nurture and develop a companywide safety culture.
• Effective oral and written communication skills to engage internal teams and external partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify safety trends and implement solutions.
• Experience in construction safety, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
