It supports initiatives like the Institute for Digital Agriculture and Advanced Analytics (ID3A) and encourages collaboration with industry partners. The center features a visualization lab, science-on-display innovation labs, data analysis workspaces, a farm observation deck, three conference rooms, and a breakroom/student gathering area. The Agronomy Research Center South is designed to support discovery in soil science, environmental science, weed science, and precision agriculture. It includes shared facilities for climate-controlled soil sample storage, plant and soil drying, fertilizer research, pesticide research, and roots research. The Agronomy Research Center North focuses on advancing research in plant breeding, plant genetics, crop physiology, range science, and cropping systems. It offers shared facilities for climate-controlled seed storage, plant threshing, plant sample preparation, and soil sample preparation.

Process

The Steps To Success

At Icon Structures, we follow a methodical and thorough process for every new construction project. This ensures that every detail is accounted for, from the initial concept to the final handover.

Here’s an overview of our process:

1

Concept Development: We start with collaborative meetings with stakeholders to understand their vision and requirements. This ensures that the design aligns with the intended use, whether for residential, commercial, or mixed-use purposes.

2

Design and Planning: Our team creates detailed blueprints and 3D models that outline every aspect of the building. This stage includes planning the exterior aesthetics, structural framework, and interior layout.

3

Site Preparation & Construction: Before construction begins, we prepare the site by clearing the land. With the site ready, we move on to the construction phase. This includes framing the structure, installing essential systems, and co

4

Quality Assurance: Throughout the construction process, we conduct regular quality checks to ensure that every aspect of the project meets our high standards. This includes inspections of materials, workmanship, and overall safety.

5

Completion and Handover: After construction is finished, we conduct thorough final walkthroughs with the client to confirm that every detail aligns with their expectations. Once satisfied, we officially hand over the keys, and the building is ready for its intended use.

6

Facilities Team Education: Our Facilities Team plays a vital role in the successful completion of every project. Once the construction phase is complete, this dedicated team steps in to ensure that all aspects of the facility meet our high standards of quality and safety.
